Introduction to Eulogia The Life Coach with Life Coach Eulogia Gordon

4:15 – 5:30 PM MOVIE SCREENING
Introduction of the film by filmmaker followed by the World Premiere of TRAPPED (for Mental
Health Awareness Month) Producer Bella (Immaculate Kum Nton) will be joining us from
Cameroon.

5:30 – 5:45 PM CONVERSATION
Queen Mother Houmgoue talks about DNA, Cultural Connections and her relationship with the
Garifuna People living in NYC.

5:45 – 6:15 PM BOOK SIGNING & CONVERSATION
With Garifuna Duchess (Karen Cayetano) who will also speak about Garifuna Spirituality and
signing of her book “My Spiritual Journey”.

6:15 – 7:00 PM SYMPOSIUM
Dr. Sideroff moderates a conversation with Alfonso Cayetano, Bill Guerrero Flores, Garifuna
Duchess and Eulogia the Life Coach speak about Garifuna Culture and UNESCO’s proclamation
of Garifuna as Intangible Heritage of Humanity

6:00 – 6:45 PM INDIGENOUS CULTURES AND ANCIENT WISDOM: STORYTELLING and Q&A
Internationally renowned Cultural-Conservation Photographer Sej Saraiya shares photographs
and stories from remote cultures from her years-long journeys in the remote East.

7:00 – 8:30 PM MOVIE SCREENING
Screening of the film WAYUNAGU followed by a Q&A with screenwriter and filmmaker Angel
Valerio Jr.

8:30 – 9:30 PM ART HEALS: THE JINGLE DRESS PROJECT
The Jingle Dress Dance is an intertribal healing dance, shared by the Ojibwe people for other
tribes to dance and heal. Internationally renowned Photographer and Journalist, Jingle Dress
Project founder from the Navajo nation, Eugene Tapahé presents his work “The Jingle Dress
Project. Closing the night with a performance with the Jingle Dress Dancers

6:00 – 7:30 PM MOVIE SCREENING WITH Q&A
Screening of the film WAYUNAGU II followed by a Q&A with screenwriter and filmmaker Angel
Valerio Jr.
Synopsis: A former kickboxer from the United States returns to his native land of Honduras and
is viewed as a foreigner by locals. He finds it hard to fit in and after a botched robbery and
accidental murder of a teenager, Ivan finds himself being chased by a group of bandits. Lost,
injured and alone he must discover himself in the jungles of Honduras and face his fears, in
order to save his life.
